Winter Season – General Staff

2025/2026

General Staff duties are:

  • Ensuring that the rooms and common areas are always kept clean, neat and tidy,
  • Preparing rooms for guests prior to arrival,
  • Perform minor cleaning during guest stays,
  • Report necessary repairs to be performed,
  • Snow shovelling when the weather decides,
From time to time, you will as well work in kitchen or restaurant:
  • Kitchen Hand, assist the chef in preparing the breakfast for the guests
  • Perform Breakfast or Dinner service
  • Washing dishes
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Fluent/Business level in English and Japanese required
  • You will bring your lively personality and sense of fun and hard work
  • Professional attitude,
  • Previous experience not necessary,
  • Minimum fitness as the job can be physically challenging in high season,

Working Hours & Time Off:
  • 8 hours per day, 1-hour unpaid break
  • 2 days off per week
  • Paid monthly (calculated at end of month, paid on the 10th of next month)
  • Winter season bonus: ¥4,000 per 7 full workdays (※minimum 77 days worked to qualify)

Accommodation & Benefits:

  • Accommodation provided (deposit: ¥10,000, refunded if room is clean and items returned)
  • Staff meals (lunch & dinner) included from Dec–Mar (vegetarian option available)
  • Winter lift passes available (shared pool or option to take a company loan to buy your own ※Ski pass loan requires credit card security and must be repaid in full if leaving early)
  • Utilities: ¥5,000/month
  • Optional parking: ¥20,000/month (limited availability)
  • Hourly Wage
  • No or Minimal Experience: Hourly rate: ¥1,100
  • Experienced Candidates (with relevant and useful skills):Hourly rate: ¥1,250–¥1,350
  • Free Food: lunch and dinner during working days

Candidates for all positions must possess a Japanese passport or valid work/working holiday visa at the time of the winter season.
