General Staff duties are:
- Welcome guests on arrival and provide an introduction to the chalet and facilities
- Prepare and serve breakfasts and tea time pastries according to dietary requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and communal areas
- Manage laundry and ensure fresh linen and towels are supplied
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to guest requests
- Assist guests with local recommendations and information about the resort and activities
- Coordinate with the reservation and front desk teams to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction
- Handle basic stock control for food and cleaning supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards
- Snow shovelling when the weather decides
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Be able to communicate in English. Speaking Japanese is a plus but not required,
- Professional attitude,
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays during the season
- Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning and kitchen duties
- Basic cooking skills
- Willingness to live and work in a communal chalet environment
